Michael Jackson dies of heart attack
It’s been a long time since I last posted on this blog but I felt compelled to post about this tragic loss to the music world. I grew up listening to his songs and somehow considered his music a part of my life. I’m sure a lot of people feel the same way too.
Here’s an excerpt of the CNN report:
Entertainer Michael Jackson died after being taken to a hospital on Thursday after suffering cardiac arrest, CNN confirmed.
Lt. Fred Corral, the Los Angeles County Coroner said Jackson was pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m. Thursday.
He also said Jackson was unresponsive when he arrived at the hospital.
Brian Oxman, a Jackson family attorney, said he was told by brother Randy Jackson that Michael Jackson collapsed at his home in west Los Angeles, California, Thursday morning.
Family members were told of the situation and were either at the hospital or en route, Oxman said.
“I can only tell you that the family members are crying,” Oxman said.
Fire Capt. Steve Ruda told CNN a 911 call came in from a west Los Angeles residence at 12:21 p.m.
Ruda said Jackson was treated and transferred to the UCLA Medical Center.
I expect that his funeral would be attended by thousands of fans. Even though he was rumored (was he convicted?) to be a pedophile, that doesn’t take away his contributions to the world of pop music. MJ, you are still the King of Pop and your legacy will live on through many generations. You will surely be missed.

I agree hes a very very great! singer and entertainer but for some reasons my emotions are holding back.. coz when I think of Michael Jackson the first thing comes in my mind is child molestation. If that reports on him ain’t true then it would be a very painful loss to all the people and to the history of pop music.

it is so sad that the king of pop is already dead. we are going to miss him but his music will be remembered forever.

It’s a shame he went so young. Despite all his personal controversy I believe he had some more good music and concerts left in him. RIP MJ.
