The world’s tallest building, or skyscraper  if you may have it, has just opened today.

Burj Dubai is the tallest man-made structure ever built, standing at 828 meters or 2,717 feet.  This iconic structure, as well as a project called “Downtown Dubai” is part of the country’’s campaign to become a globalized city.

It has been announced that the total budget for this giant horizontal structure  is about US$ 1.5 billion. Recent developments say that office space had reached US$ 4,000 per sq ft.

Burj Dubai has the tallest service elevator in the world. Speed is clocked at 64km/h.
